At Colores Enterprises, we believe strong organizations are built on a foundation of integrity, accountability, trust, and a genuine commitment to the people they serve.

On October 16, 2026, Colores Enterprises had the privilege of partnering with the Glenn County Office of Education (GCOE) to deliver an interactive professional development session focused on Ethics and Standards of Conduct for early childhood education professionals.

Bringing Ethical Leadership into Everyday Practice

Ethical decision-making extends far beyond written policies and regulatory requirements. It influences how employees communicate, respond to concerns, maintain professional boundaries, protect confidential information, and support the children and families entrusted to their care.

During the session, participants explored practical workplace scenarios and engaged in collaborative discussions connecting everyday decisions with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Code of Ethical Conduct, organizational expectations, and applicable early childhood education standards.

The training emphasized the importance of:

  • Upholding professional ethics and personal accountability.

  • Protecting confidentiality and maintaining appropriate boundaries.

  • Recognizing and responding to ethical concerns.

  • Promoting respectful communication and workplace trust.

  • Applying sound judgment when faced with challenging situations.

  • Strengthening organizational culture through consistent, values-driven actions.

A Shared Commitment to Children, Families, and Communities

Through interactive activities, group discussions, and real-world examples, participants had opportunities to reflect on how their individual decisions contribute to a larger culture of professionalism, safety, and trust.

For Colores Enterprises, this partnership reflects our commitment to supporting organizations whose work makes a meaningful difference in their communities.

“Ethics is not simply about knowing what is right. It is about having the courage, compassion, and accountability to put those values into practice every day.”
